The lion in the tree by Timothy.
Timothy has chosen the picture of the lion in the tree.
Timothy has written about the lion is sleeping in the tree. He's using the yellow butterfly card to find his sight words to write his sentence. Timothy has also drawn a picture to match.
Here are roarsome facts about lions. They are often known as the "King of the Jungle", most lions actually live in the savannah or grasslands. Lions run at a speed of up to 81 kilometres per hour. Lions usually live in groups of 10 or 15 animals called prides. An adult male's roar can be heard up to 8 kilometres away.
