Picnic Day.
It's our school picnic day. We're so lucky to have a local beach to walk to and beautiful weather for a fun day out. There were lots of cool actiivities going on, such as cricket, softball, volleyball, cycling and touch rugby. I think the best ones for us were swimming and searching for small crabs in the water. Thank you to our volunteers/parents who came to help and made the day an enjoyable one. Here are several photos taken on the day of our class and friends.
Listening to the rules from Mr Burt, before we head to find our picnic spot, under the big tree. McKenna has found new company, it's Olivia's dog, Rocky.
Taylor has his legs buried with sand by Cullai. Akanesi decides to join in and covers more sand to make the sand hill bigger. Akanesi and Brian thought to make a sand hill of their own.
Ratai and Joelle are excited, they have found something in the water. What coud this be?
Ratai has found a small baby crab in the water. Ratai and Jaedha showing each other what they have found, more smal crabs. Joelle, Taylor and Ratai go searching for more, maybe there hiding in the sand? Aleyria, Sione and JJ are curious to know what's happening at the beach. Khaing-May and her sister Khaing Shwe.
